Prestwick Airport experienced its busiest day ever on 27 June, handling more than 10,000 passengers on the one day. Friday 27 June was the last official day of school in Scotland and is traditionally a busy day at the airport. The most popular destinations were London and Majorca followed by Dublin. Mark Rodwell, Chief Executive of Glasgow Prestwick Airport, said: “The fact we have just experienced our busiest ever day is a welcome boost as we enter July and August, our two busiest months of the year.” Post a comment
