The Robin Hood to Dublin service is set to return thanks to the recent franchise agreement signed by Aer Arann and Aer Lingus. The new ‘Aer Lingus Regional’ service from Doncaster Sheffield to Dublin will operate daily from 28 March 2010. Operated using Aer Arann ATR 72-500 aircraft and crew, the service will enable Doncaster Sheffield travellers to access transatlantic flights via Dublin Airport’s transatlantic network.
