It may seem like summer has only just arrived, but Christmas isn’t too far away…
Well, not for Southampton Airport anyhow!
Even more flights to Lapland will be available this winter. In fact, an increase of a whopping 300%, and what’s more, seats to see the Big Red Man are going fast!
The thought of meeting Santa is magical to both the young and old, not to mention snowmobile rides that give a thrilling ride to the whole family and there’s nothing like meeting the reindeer and taking a sleigh ride through the snow!
With a choice of three different dates, and various duration options available too, there’s something for everyone!
For those wanting a longer break, choose from a three day break, flying on Tuesday 8th December to Ivalo Airport with Santa’s Lapland and Esprit Ski. Alternatively, there’s a handy day trip option flying to Enontekio that leave early in the morning, and arrive home late at night. These flights depart on Saturday 12th December with Transun, or fly on either Sunday 20th December or Monday 21st with Canterbury Travel.
Speaking about the increased flights, Jan Halliday, Director of Marketing & Communications, said, “It must be every child’s dream to see Santa in Lapland and so this year we’re making it possible for even more families. We’re delighted to be able to offer these additional flights from Southampton Airport which, particularly for the day trippers, will be a much more convenient alternative to the larger London airports.’
