Flybe has successfully implemented the launch of six new European flights out of London Southend Airport.
The services are operated though Stobart Air as part of a franchise agreement between the two airlines.
The airline intends to fly 200,000 new customers in the first year alone.
New flights are now available from London Southend to Maastricht, Groningen in the Netherlands, Münster Osnabrück in Germany, Rennes and Caen in France and Antwerp in Belgium.
Speaking about the new services, Simon Fagan, Flybe’s Chief Commercial said, “We recently announced the airline’s expansion into continental Europe with six new routes from London’s Southend Airport. The last of these new routes commenced operation today and we’re delighted that the Maastricht service is now up and running. With a target to fly 25,000 passengers this year, the route will provide a convenient link for travel between two key European destinations and we look forward to welcoming passengers on board this Flybe service.”
