Skywork Airlines has launched its flight service out of Southend Airport to Bern, Switzerland.
The new service, which successfully took off last week, will operate twice a week, appealing to both business and leisure passengers with its convenient early morning departures from Southend and later departures out of Bern.
The airline recently moved to Southend Airport, having been voted as the Best Airport in Britain by Which? Magazine two years running, highlighting the airport’s superb customer service and quick routes into London.
Speaking about the new route, SkyWork Airlines Chief Commercial Officer, Maren Fides Schmelz, said, “We are pleased to be connected twice a day with London’s sixth airport, customer friendly London Southend Airport and we are looking forward to an engaging and exciting collaboration. SkyWork Airlines fly passengers from London Southend directly to Bern. Bern Airport is just 10 km from the city center and easily accessible by train or by car – your ideal starting point for trips in the Swiss mountains.”
